The story of Aganorsa Leaf
Aganorsa Leaf is a Nicaraguan cigar manufacturer associated with Nicaraguan-grown tobacco. Its handmade, long-filler cigars include blends finished with Connecticut, Maduro, Habano and Corojo wrappers.
The company also owns Tabacalera Tropical in Estelí, formerly Pedro Martin’s Tropical Tobacco. Before its acquisition by Aganorsa, that factory produced Pete Johnson’s strong, unbanded Nuevitas Jibaro figurados.
Aganorsa Leaf has collaborated with Cigar Dojo on the ReviveR series since its 2018 debut. In 2026, the partners introduced ReviveR Maduro, the series’ first blend variation, using a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, two Nicaraguan Aganorsa binder leaves and an all-Nicaraguan filler that includes Aganorsa Corojo 2012.

How they make them
The cited Aganorsa Leaf cigars are hand rolled with long filler in Nicaragua. Overruns use the same Nicaraguan tobaccos as the company’s higher-priced named brands and are offered with Maduro, Habano, Connecticut and Corojo wrappers. The Connecticut Toro pairs an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler, while the Maduro Robusto uses a Maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler.
