The story of Brick House
Julius Caesar Newman, founder of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company, created Brick House in 1937. He named the brand for his family home in the Hungarian countryside.
That brick house held the Newman family residence upstairs and the local tavern they operated downstairs. The earliest Brick House cigars were made with Cuban tobacco, but the brand later declined in popularity.
In 2009, third-generation owners Eric and Bobby Newman revived Brick House using Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua by the J.C. Newman Cigar Company.

How they make them
Brick House cigars are handmade with long-filler tobacco in Nicaragua. The Natural is a Nicaraguan puro, combining a Nicaraguan-grown Havana Subido wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler. The Maduro uses a Brazilian Arapiraca Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-fillers.
