The story of Ferio Tego
Ferio Tego was created by former Nat Sherman vice president Michael Herklots. The house continued Nat Sherman core lines including Timeless, Metropolitan and Epoca, giving those blends a new life under the Ferio Tego name.
Timeless was first launched in 2012. Ferio Tego marked the collection’s tenth anniversary in 2022 with the limited-edition Timeless Ten Years, while the Metropolitan Selection became available on January 19 of that year.
Summa became Ferio Tego’s first entirely new regular-production blend. Made at Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación factory in the Dominican Republic, it established an original line alongside the inherited Nat Sherman portfolio.
The house also produces annual limited releases of its flagship Elegancia and Generoso cigars. In 2026, Ferio Tego introduced Milestones with the Miles Davis Estate and Reservoir as part of the official Miles Davis Centennial celebration.

How they make them
Ferio Tego Summa is handmade with long filler at Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación factory in the Dominican Republic. Its blend uses Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. The Milestones toro is also handmade with long filler, pairing Honduran, Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.
