The story of Gurkha
Gurkha’s Avenger G5 is manufactured by the Plasencia family’s cigar operations, whose factories are based in Honduras and Nicaragua. Plasencia produces cigars for more than 30 labels and uses both Connecticut-seed and Cuban-seed tobacco in its fields.
In 2023, Gurkha presented its 35th Anniversary project at the PCA Convention trade show. The commemorative cigars were made in the Dominican Republic by El Artista.
The anniversary release debuted in a 150-count humidor containing 75 cigars: 25 each in three different shapes and sizes. Atlantic Cigar Company lists the cigars as hand-rolled, long-filler and medium in strength.

How they make them
