The story of Warped
Kyle Gellis is identified by Cigar Journal as the figure behind Warped cigar company. The publication reported that Warped was preparing to debut La Chinchalle, a cigar from the Dominican Republic, at the Premium Cigar Association trade show.
Warped also produces Gellis Family Cigars. Atlantic Cigar Company identifies Kyle Gellis as the blender of the Gellis Family Cigars Absolutos line and lists Nicaragua as its country of origin.
Absolutos is offered in box-pressed Toro and Corona Gorda formats. Both are described as medium-strength, hand-rolled, long-filler cigars made with a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler.
How they make them
The documented Absolutos cigars are hand-rolled in small batches at NACSA using aged tobacco. Their composition is entirely Nicaraguan: a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Atlantic Cigar Company classifies them as long-filler, box-pressed cigars.
