Tabak Especial Limited
About this cigar
A compact, handmade Nicaraguan robusto pairing Connecticut Broadleaf with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Coffee flavoring and a sweetened character define the profile, while the broad 54-ring format emphasizes its rich, roasted presentation. Despite the Limited designation, Red Eye is a regularly offered Tabak Especial size.

How to keep it
General humidor guidance for this cigar, based on its wrapper, strength, ring gauge and packaging.
Hold the box at 65–70% relative humidity at 65–70°F (18–21°C). Steady humidity matters far more than the exact number — swings are what crack wrappers.
Thicker ring gauges hold shipping moisture longest — give these boxes three to four weeks in the humidor before the first one.
Shade-grown wrappers are at their brightest young. Rest them, then smoke them within the year while the cream and cedar are still forward.
A medium blend like this holds well for a year or two; longer aging mostly smooths the finish rather than changing the flavour.
Limited runs are not restocked. If you intend to age a box, buy the smoking box separately so the cellar box stays sealed.
Age them in their own box where possible — the cedar keeps the cigars marrying together instead of taking on the flavour of everything else in the humidor.
