The story of Aladino
Aladino is produced by JRE Tobacco Co., a family-centered company founded by Julio R. Eiroa and his son Justo M. Eiroa. Together, they manage the company’s tobacco growing and cigar manufacturing.
The family owns farms in Honduras’s Jamastran Valley. Aladino Classic and Sumatra cigars are made at Fabrica de Puros Aladino S.A. using tobacco grown in Honduras by JRE Tobacco.
Julio and Justo began experimenting with Sumatra and Cameroon tobacco in 2016. Aladino Cameroon became JRE Tobacco’s fifth cigar line, using a Honduran-grown wrapper descended from Cameroon seed acquired by the Eiroa family. The company later introduced a blend featuring its Honduran-grown Sumatra.

How they make them
JRE Tobacco describes its approach as a “crop to shop” operation, with Julio and Justo Eiroa managing tobacco growing and cigar manufacturing. The family grows its leaf on Honduran farms, and the cited Aladino cigars are hand-rolled, long-filler cigars. Aladino Classic combines Habano-seed wrapper and filler with a Corojo binder, while Aladino Cameroon is a Honduran puro combining Honduran-grown Cameroon-seed wrapper with authentic Corojo tobacco.
