About this cigar

Macanudo Gold Label is a limited-production extension of the house's popular Café line, handcrafted in the Dominican Republic. It combines rare golden Connecticut Shade wrapper leaves from the first and second primings with a Mexican San Andrés binder and aged Dominican Piloto Cubano filler, producing an exceptionally smooth, naturally sweet, mild-to-medium smoke.

Aging & storage · Guidance

How to keep it

General humidor guidance for this cigar, based on its wrapper, strength, ring gauge and packaging.

Storage

Hold the box at 65–70% relative humidity at 65–70°F (18–21°C). Steady humidity matters far more than the exact number — swings are what crack wrappers.

Rest after delivery

Thicker ring gauges hold shipping moisture longest — give these boxes three to four weeks in the humidor before the first one.

Aging window

Milder blends age less dramatically — plan to enjoy this one inside a year or so rather than cellaring it long-term.

In the box

Age them in their own box where possible — the cedar keeps the cigars marrying together instead of taking on the flavour of everything else in the humidor.
