About this cigar

A slender corona gorda built entirely around Honduran tobacco from the Plasencia family’s 151st harvest, gathered in 2016. The 46-ring format offers a focused expression of the blend, while the San Diego remains a regular-production member of the three original Cosecha 151 sizes.

Aging & storage · Guidance

How to keep it

General humidor guidance for this cigar, based on its wrapper, strength, ring gauge and packaging.

Storage

Hold the box at 65–70% relative humidity at 65–70°F (18–21°C). Steady humidity matters far more than the exact number — swings are what crack wrappers.

Rest after delivery

Thicker ring gauges hold shipping moisture longest — give these boxes three to four weeks in the humidor before the first one.

How the wrapper develops

Keep the wrapper away from direct light; the oils that carry most of the aroma are the first thing strong light strips out.

Aging window

A medium blend like this holds well for a year or two; longer aging mostly smooths the finish rather than changing the flavour.

In the box

Age them in their own box where possible — the cedar keeps the cigars marrying together instead of taking on the flavour of everything else in the humidor.
