About this cigar
The Edge Connecticut is Rocky Patel's smoother expression of The Edge, made in Honduras with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The long Double Corona format smokes creamy and mellow-to-medium, balancing cedar and nuts with restrained pepper.

Clean, resinous notes that come forward as the cigar warms up.
The tingle on the retrohale; usually strongest in the first third.
Roasted, faintly bitter sweetness that builds through the middle.
The soft, rounded texture that keeps a smoke easy on the palate.

How to keep it
General humidor guidance for this cigar, based on its wrapper, strength, ring gauge and packaging.
Hold the box at 65–70% relative humidity at 65–70°F (18–21°C). Steady humidity matters far more than the exact number — swings are what crack wrappers.
Two to three weeks of rest after delivery lets the box settle back to your humidor before the first smoke.
Milder blends age less dramatically — plan to enjoy this one inside a year or so rather than cellaring it long-term.
Age them in their own box where possible — the cedar keeps the cigars marrying together instead of taking on the flavour of everything else in the humidor.
