Aniversario Connecticut
About this cigar
Romeo y Julieta's Aniversario Connecticut is a Dominican-made cigar built around a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The Toro offers a smooth, creamy smoke with restrained spice and a gently woody, nutty profile.

Clean, resinous notes that come forward as the cigar warms up.
The tingle on the retrohale; usually strongest in the first third.
Roasted, faintly bitter sweetness that builds through the middle.

How to keep it
General humidor guidance for this cigar, based on its wrapper, strength, ring gauge and packaging.
Hold the box at 65–70% relative humidity at 65–70°F (18–21°C). Steady humidity matters far more than the exact number — swings are what crack wrappers.
Thicker ring gauges hold shipping moisture longest — give these boxes three to four weeks in the humidor before the first one.
Milder blends age less dramatically — plan to enjoy this one inside a year or so rather than cellaring it long-term.
Limited runs are not restocked. If you intend to age a box, buy the smoking box separately so the cellar box stays sealed.
Age them in their own box where possible — the cedar keeps the cigars marrying together instead of taking on the flavour of everything else in the humidor.
